Bringing depth and creativity, the Menswear Hermès Spring-Summer 2022 collection represents a breath of fresh air, a free spirit, optimistic energy with sophisticated designs, and an excellent color gamut for Spring-Summer.
On June 26, 2021, the Menswear Hermès Spring-Summer 2022 collection was officially held at France’s Paris Mobilier National building. This is also an emotional reunion between menswear designer Hermès Véronique Nichanian and director Cyril Teste.
If in the previous meeting, the stairs of the Paris Mobilier National became the connecting passage between the inside and the outside, now the show is a stroll in the outdoor campus, right under the “con” architectural eye” of the Auguste Perret stone field.
Throughout the show, the audience will admire every movement of models and costumes through a triangular stage. The models will appear on several screens of different sizes, giving viewers an accurate view of the details of each design. Thus, whether in person at the show or online, every audience is greeted with the same story and shared experience.
The show opened with a musical piece of music that embodies the spirit of this collection. The minimalist French fashion house designs, with spacious shapes promoting mobility, are the manifesto of reinventing the everyday wardrobe. Different fabrics are interwoven and become the inspiration for the movement. Handicraft of Hermès.

Silver Toilbright material blends with cotton; Vibrant color patches and stitches accentuate leather material. This combination has opened a new definition of luxury, focusing on core values such as high-class tailoring techniques instead of eye-catching and impressive motifs.
The spirit of optimism is clearly expressed through the harmonious and consistent combination of softness and elegance, expressed through elegant and neutral colors such as jade green, moss green, chocolate brown. And blends in with the softness of duffel, pale pink and stone-grey.
Besides, the highlight of the yellow tone, along with the elegant and minimalist form.
The lightweight canvas hooded parkas are secured with zigzag stitching for an effect of movement and freedom for sailing. On the other hand, this item is also reversible, enhancing its applicability for everyday wear. Meanwhile, Blouson shirts or short coats are impressed by the silver Toilbright material’s unique cotton coating.

Despite the gloomy weather of the French rainy season, the show still ignites the vitality of a reclaimed world with optimism and fresh energy in this collection.
