Eventually once I graduate and can afford it, I want to gave genetic testing done on things that run in our family so I can hopefully prevent it. Pretty sure we have familial hypercholesterolemia. I eat really healthy and never go out to eat anymore and mines still high. My mom is about 110lbs and has had cholesterol problems (usually more common in obese, older people). I also wonder if my spina bifida and/or crohns runs in my family since I have both.

They also say to test for cancer 10 years before the first person in your family was diagnosed so I know nothing about that.
